The Spell

Sending love and gratitude to your ancestors can be a healing and beneficial experience. Create an altar using white cloth covered with pictures and/or written names of your ancestors. If there are unknown ancestors, you can write something like “all my ancestors” or “ancestors going back twenty generations.” Sprinkle some tobacco and lobelia around the altar. Light candles (any color) and send gratitude to your ancestors. Let the candles burn down.
