William Heirens, the man who died in prison in 2012 while serving three life sentences over the Lipstick Murders, always proclaimed his innocence. It sounds like the Chicago police tortured a false confession out of him. I also read that Jeanne French, killed in Los Angeles less than a month later in a similarly gruesome fashion by someone who wrote on her body with lipstick, was last seen by a bartender sitting next to a small man who had a dark complexion. And the timing of the Los Angeles murders matches up with the abrupt end of the Cleveland Torso Murders.
The Black Dahlia murder is one of the more bizarre crimes in american history and it’s puzzled me for many years, so I found your psychic exploration into the case extremely fascinating.
